Plethora of Wildlife

Three-quarters of an acre is quite a bit of space.

And not just for Chad, Milli and I, but for other creatures! Creatures both straight out of Disney movies and from one's nightmares.

I however love them all, so I've been chronically them as I've come across them. Here are some of my favorites (I'll start off nice, but no promises as you keep reading):

Gray Squirrel

Carolina Chickadee

Northern Cardinal

Carolina Anole

Warning... the next images are MY FAVORITE!

Zipper Spider

(aka Black and Yellow Garden Spider or Lady Zipper as we call her)
I love her. Been watching her grow for about 3 months now.

Orchard Orbweaver

(This is a different, LESS awesome zipper spider in the background)

Smiley Face Spider

(aka Gasteracantha cancriformis or crab-like orbweaver spider)

Yes, that's a smiley face on its back!! How can you NOT LOVE HER!

I can spend hours in our back yard, just poking around. I usually have my camera with me, because there is so much here! So many creatures!!! I love it! There will be more, oh, there will be more!
